A bit of caramel on the nose with sweetness and I’d say a hint of peat. It’s full body and punch filling the mouth. Got a bit of heat but pleasant. It has a finish that lasts for a long while as in at least a minute if not longer. Liked it to start and really liking it as I go through the dram. Btw this is not the Pedro Ximenez Cask Finish. 2022 Coast Grade Vineyard
A good year for Coast Grade grapes.
The nose makes my mouth water - a sense of crunchy mineral and freshly dried raspberries and the perfect balance of new:used French oak all lead to IMO a sophisticated youthful wine.
Acids are on the light side which lets those raspberry notes and sur lie texture run down the back of your tongue gracefully. A wonderful finish with a touch of... oak bark funkiness. — 2 years ago

Golden raisin, strawberries, figs, cut red apple, sweet potato, lemon-dill, oregano, smoke and an almost sweet peat smell as sherry shoulders in. Orange is the backbone, from pure squeezed, to zest, oil and pith. Toast, cedar, humidor, and nougats with roasted almond and cashew from the oak. Very smooth and sensuous mouthfeel with immediate expansion of vanilla, mocha, toffee, and finally a shimmering cinnamon with tiny sparks of heat. Secondary voices of pencil, oregano, crepe caramel, lemon peel, shaved chocolate, buffalo grass that burns into a long finish, with jalapeño-turned-peat. This is extraordinary. I know they are coopering their own barrels on site, and I think it is making a fine whisky even finer. Kudos for this magical glory. — 7 years ago
Mild peat. Not complex, but no bad at all. Moderate spice on the finish. This distillery seems to deliver a decent product on the lower end of the single malt scotch price spectrum. — 7 years ago
Not as impressive as their Chard but very French in style and fun to drink. — 9 years ago
Loch Lomond 20yr (Royal St George)
Light nose. First sip came in hot with a quick finish. With a few minutes of air it opened up a lot, smoother and noticeably longer. Wood and spice lead more than caramel for me. Finish is long and a bit drying, hits the tip of the tongue then sits in the cheeks. No real fruit showing on my palate. I’d prefer a bit more fruit or caramel to balance the structure. — 5 months ago
Old Rhosdhu (Loch Lomand) 30yr 1990 Daily Dram. ABV 47.3% (Silent meaning no longer produced). Light in color for a 30yr old. Nice flavors and punch. Fills the mouth. This one seems to get a poor rating but Nick and I both like it. Little oily, vanilla on the nose, it’s an easy one for me to drink. I’m way in front of the Scotch drinkers but I’m ok with that. — 2 years ago
I don’t appreciate buttery and oaky Chardonnay. This excellent Chardonnay has reduced the traditional characters and highlights
notes of honeysuckle, apple and Meyer lemon. Flavors of sickle pear, citrus and a dash of salt. A subtle blend of mineral and acidity. Excellent pairing with Thanksgiving. — 5 years ago
Beauregard Vineyards
2016 Sparkling Apple Wine (first release)
Appellation: Ben Lomond Mountain
Sight is Hazy, med yellow-gold, with well integrated bubbles. Scent is clean, apple with (-)med accents of Brett and barrel. Off-dry, no noticeable tannin, 9% ABV, clean and bright apple flavors with a touch of yeast and barrel accents. Good mouth feel with cleansing small bubbles. Med+ finish. Very good, drink now, multi-bottle purchase.
Great job Beauregard, looking forward to future vintages!

Превосходный виски за смешные деньги. Или я ничего не понимаю в выпивке, или надо брать ящиками! Особенно хорошо заходит под Беовульфа. — a year ago
This Pretty Flamingo Raspberry Sour is very good because it does not taste bitter at all. Instead, it has a fruity aroma with raspberry, blueberry and blackberry flavours.
Overall, it is sweet and refreshing! Definitely a good beer for sunny day and picnic! — 2 years ago
