Delicious flavor not tannic. One of our favorites — 4 months ago
Flavorful without being too bold. Soft. — 3 months ago
My last bottle of this vintage and I was concerned that it might be corked. But to my pleasant surprise it was very nice for a 17 year old Petite Sirah. A little smoky at first but then it opened up and was delicious. Retained primary fruit on the pallet but not on the nose. Very light tannins with small amounts of sediment in the glass but quite a bit on the bottle neck. Paired perfectly with rotisserie lamb. — 10 months ago
Delicious full bodied red with plenty of layers, but the price threw me off a bit. — 4 months ago
Different than any other vintage because the grapes are from Rutherford and Santa Cruz Mountains rather than Livermore. Very young, with strong tannins that subsided as it opened up. Needs to laid down for several years. Dark fruit and cranberry. — 5 months ago
Dark ruby color. Blend of fruit from two different vineyards. Touch of Petite Syrah is added. Beautiful aromatics and flavors of cooked ripe red and blue berries, cloves and chocolate. Lush and full but medium bodied with a very soft tannin (velvety smooth) structure. Excellent bottle! — a year ago
