Wonderfully lush. Lemon oil, white flowers, fields of daisies, orange blossom water, honeycomb. Not overly sweet, but a nice ripeness to balance the acidity from the citrus fruits.

Bizona BW 555 Blue Wine Primitivo 2017

FRESH. SUPPLE. SOFT. Tart cherry, touch of anise and a very punctuated finish. Some tannins but nothing overpowering. On the nose get some herbal notes but again, nothing overpowering. Only de-stemmed and not crushed, 5 day maceration, stainless steel, unfiltered. Very fun. Serve with slight chill. The label is an Italian film reference from Lino Banfi that I don’t get but want to. — 7 years ago
