One of the most unique wines that I have tasted. Unfamiliar aromas, mostly scents of steak tartare, bluefin shashimi, green tea, pink peppercorns, dried earth. Excellent balance in the structure of this wine. — 6 months ago
Tons of minerality. Notes of honeysuckle and pear with some ginger, tropical fruit, and a touch of citrus. Paris very well with cheese, salami, and dried fruit. — 4 years ago
Amazingly simple and just how you thought Bordeaux should taste like — 5 years ago
Nice blend of subtle citrus and smooth vanilla. — 2 years ago
Smokey and savory aromas and flavors of tobacco, charcoal and earth. Silky smooth tannins but flavors of dark fruit and med + acidity tell me this wine will actually continue to age even more. Quite elegant for a Toro, but still has that “macho” Toro punch! Excellent! — 5 years ago
Tastes good. Ethereal Sangiovese aroma, it settles down into a composed, harmonious and refined Chianti. It has no artificial superficiality that plagues most wines these days and offers the very essence of what good wine is about. — 6 years ago
