Les Traverses Côtes du Ventoux Red Rhone Blend

Medium to dark purple. Crushed blackberry, pepper and peppermint in the nose. Juicy strawberries in the mouth. Nice touch of acidity and soft tannins in the finish. Very easy to drink. Should have bought more. — 7 years ago

Les Traverses Côtes du Ventoux White Rhone Blend

From Wine Society: Richly flavoured and fruity but always fresh red from the slopes of Mont Ventoux. Made from majority ripe grenache with syrah in support, it offers a spot-hitting and delicious palate of ripe red berries and a touch of spice. — 3 years ago

Château La Roque

Les Traverses de la Roque Pic Saint Loup Languedoc Red Blend 2018

Organic and biodynamic wine. The nose is showing Grenadine, a bit of an irony thing (could it be brets?), cherry, blackberry and bit of heat. There is a floral thing too, violet and a bit of licorice too. The palate is rather smooth with a strong acid backbone, cherry and that Grenadine thing all around, not much weight but a nice width, a good grip, some drying tannins in mid palate and cherry, Grenadine and a bit of black pepper in the end. This is likely too young but pairs well with a roasted lamb leg. — 6 years ago

Cavus

Stag's Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon

Still young but not at its peak. Eucalyptus & cherries sing out as the wine traverses the palate. 2005 is still my favorite vintage. Thank you Darryl & Laurel for making fantastic Cabernet Sauvignons. — 9 years ago

L'Anglore Les Traverses Grenache 2016

Excellent! The palate goes on and on. Bold fruit, darker, but also a lightness that makes this sing. — 7 years ago

Les Traverses de Fontanès Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

Fun wine! Tannins were but a mere shadow in a mid-day decadence. Light and playful.. — 11 years ago
