Not sure if the grapes from this Bordeaux blend are from this area of Michigan and didn’t realize it was this old. Has held up well. Lots of tannins and acidity. Plums and dark chocolate. — 2 years ago

A really nice wine from Verterra, who in my opinion is one of the best producers in Michigan. This one seems to have a slight trace of residual sugar. Doesn’t work so well just below room temp, but cool it down and it really comes into balance. Had it with cream cheese-stuffed jalapeños with a sweet Thai chili sauce. Excellent. Alsatian White varietal from Michigan. Loads of mouth watering acidity! Complex nose of orange, lemon and white flowers. Lemon-Lime flavors with a hint of fresh cut grass. Minerals and chalk on the finish! Totally interesting! Really delicious! Revisited in November 2022. Still fresh tasting. Reached its peak. — 5 years ago
