Lighter than other vermentino- crisp, refreshing, but more mineral than round. — 3 years ago
2020 spring with Adriatic seafood dishes. This was another great verdiccchio, combining depth, richness, and freshness. I’d love to have some more — 4 years ago
Popped and poured. The 2007 Florus pours a deep salmon, almost transparent mauve color. The nose is redolent of desiccated apricot fruits, flower honey, lychee and some nuts. Of course it’s sweet there’s great acid too so the wine is balanced. Excellent length. A pleasant surprise. Drinking very well now but this will undoubtedly last for another 10-15, at least. The color will likely be pretty brown at that point…but I’m sure it will be very much alive. — 6 months ago

Very old white wine. Golden hue. Smells a bit like golden delicious apples, Bartlett pear, honey and sweetened lemon. Flavors are hint oxidized, but still tart and bright. Plenty of citrus. Lots of tannin. This is adventurous and delicious white. Wonder what it was like closer to 2014. At this stage it’s a bit like my favorite kind of Chardonnay. Smooth and round, but zippy too. — 3 months ago
