strawberries with a hint of sugar. stupid bottle exploded when opened though which emptied half of it. be careful out there — 6 years ago
Very good stuff hiding under extreme reduction - the smell of eggs and sulfur that won’t give way without a fight. Give this time and you’ll find a beautifully assembled Chablis like mix of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Highly acidic and weighty from some neutral oak exposure. — 6 years ago

Interesting, approachable entry into the amber/orange genre. Some primary varietal fruit, earthy funk, a cognac like hit. — 11 years ago

I would drink this every day. Floral delight. Orange wine technically. Perfect summer wine and my favorite of the Kindeli selection I’ve tried so far this vintage. — 6 years ago
the f***in' juuuuuice. smokey, tannic (but subtle), blueberry pie, black fruits and funk forsure. some oats and meaty qualities on the nose. smooth, rich and suuuper silky on the pallet. $28 — 6 years ago

Showing better than the last bottle after a few shakes and a splash decant to get rid of some co2. Savoury carbonic cherry fruit. Bacon. Smoke. Violets. Low alcohol, high acid, gluggability. — 10 years ago
The Kindeli wines from Alex Craighead require at least a decent understanding of natural wine and wine faults. These are beautifully crafted rustic wines usually polarized by oxidation or reduction. Verano is of the latter group, a fire cracker red blend of aromatic whites, all unrecognizable and heavily influenced by native yeast and mild to moderate skin contact. It has a grainy matzah meal aroma that mixes to concentrated tart citrus - full bodied, all full of sunshine too. — 6 years ago
