Hawaiian Shochu Company

Cascina 'Tavijn

Bandita Barbera

Bold nose of dark red berry, velvet, latex and a strangely seafood-y funk, like oysters maybe, on a medium bodied, DARK red wine, with purple hues present towards the edges. The palate is much more straightforward and juicy, and slightly spicy, with notes like Hawaiian Punch, dark overripe berry, and a finish that tastes a bit like artificial blueberry flavor, with some slight tannins peppered throughout. — a year ago

Solano County Trousseau Rosé 2021

Hardly a rosé… chilled this drinks like Hawaiian Punch with some kind of natty funk dry finish, light and sticky. Wasn’t too sure at first, but it grew on me quickly. — 2 years ago

l’Alchemiste Fleurie Gamay 2016

With rabbit, cellared for 2 years. Can’t say it’s much better than the bottle we drank in 2018 but it’s good. Slight funk on the nose with sour cherry and marzipan. Light body, flinty/chalky minerality on the palette, subtle oiliness but bright acidity. Classic bojo adult Hawaiian Punch. — 5 years ago

Red Willow Vineyard Red Bordeaux Blend 2013

Hazelnuts and cordial cherry. AN interesting nose, that seems to grow bolder as it opens.

Top medium to heavy weighted, with red fruit seeds and pithe, dried persimmons, Hawaiian Christmas pepper, astringent tannins, mingled with a long lasting salinity.
A lovely, bold wine, and a wonderful way to celebrate our 7minutes left sojourn from the escape room earlier today.
