Top medium to heavy weighted, with red fruit seeds and pithe, dried persimmons, Hawaiian Christmas pepper, astringent tannins, mingled with a long lasting salinity.

Bold nose of dark red berry, velvet, latex and a strangely seafood-y funk, like oysters maybe, on a medium bodied, DARK red wine, with purple hues present towards the edges. The palate is much more straightforward and juicy, and slightly spicy, with notes like Hawaiian Punch, dark overripe berry, and a finish that tastes a bit like artificial blueberry flavor, with some slight tannins peppered throughout. — 3 years ago

With rabbit, cellared for 2 years. Can’t say it’s much better than the bottle we drank in 2018 but it’s good. Slight funk on the nose with sour cherry and marzipan. @Martin G Rivard thanks for sending this SB my way. Never heard of it, until now. This drinks well served cool or at room temp. I lean towards liking it served cooler. Has this Hawaiian tropics suntan lotion and cotton candy nose. The acid is well balanced, same scents hit the palate while highlighting minerals and saline. Thanks again MR.
