At 30 years this Pommard from Pothier was surpurb ! 45 minutes of decant and it opened up with light berries and earthy tones. Not filtered. Long finish with balanced tannins. Classic Pommard. — 8 years ago
Cherry vanilla notes on the front of the pallet with citrus notes on the back. A light, fruity wine — 9 years ago

Beautiful fruity foretaste — 8 years ago
Consumed with friends and it was classic Burgundy. Delicate and with aromatics still intact. Best to consume in the next few years.😀🍷🍷 — 8 years ago
Dit is Les Cras, zelf gekocht op het domein 5 jaar geleden heel goed. Denk destijds voor €25 gekocht — 6 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of 90 minutes. The 2022 “Le Cros Martin” (which is a lieu dit that sits just below Champans) pours a deep ruby color with a translucent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with beautiful notes of strawberry, raspberry, red flowers, sous bois, gentle cool and warm spices and limestone minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. A lovely Volnay from a Pommard producer I had not tried before. Drink now through 2037. — 7 months ago
Rich opulent and oak forward. Golden yellow color, a burgundy for the American palate. — 7 years ago
Bouquet reminds me of a cassis throat lozenge. Rich cherry fruit up front that also reminds me of a Smith Bros. throat lozenge, with strong tannins and a long finish. — 8 years ago

This is the white, not the red. Mineral drenched nose. Lots of wet dirty limestone. Crisp appley fruit playing too and little lemon oil. Fatter than expected on palate entry, but retains nice mineral freshness. Great value. — 25 days ago
