Dark fruit and barnyard funk on the nose. The palate is dark cherry, cola, cinnamon, cranberry, plum, and earthy notes. Nice minerals, high alcohol, medium tannins, and high acid. — 4 years ago
Big nose of perfumed red fruit, new french oak, and blackberry with a bit of brett. The palate features spicy red fruit, ripe blackberry, cinnamon, clove, oak, and cocoa. High alcohol, moderate to moderate plus tannins, and high acid. — 5 years ago
Fawning over this sub-$20 rose. Light orange color but matches perfectly with an orange peel aroma mixed with white flowers and some white pepper. Really a pretty scent. Subtle flavors of strawberry and melon. Nice edge of minerality that comes through toward the end. Easy drinking and good tasting. Medium finish. — 2 years ago
Bursting strawberry and blackberry, touch of black pepper, chocolate and vanilla, hint of bay leaf; medium tannin, medium plus acidity, medium-deep purple. Very pleasant aroma. Rec from Deb at BGarden. $16 — 5 years ago
Rich color due to some extended skin contact, but less funky than an Orange wine. Cloudy and flavorful, pairs well with seasoned ethnic food (Asian, Caribbean, etc.). — 2 years ago

Great natural Grenache/Syrah blend. Mildly funky, ripe stone fruit, chalky earth, black pepper notes. Great food or table wine. — 6 years ago

The description: Fleur d’Eglantine gets its name from its acidulous freshness and its luminous colour, reminiscent of the petals of the wild roses that surround our vinyards. It’s a delicate rosé, airy and acidic, which unites floral aromas and crunchy red berries. Grape Grenache mixed with Mourvèdre and a dash of Syrah
The opinion: Brilliant value for this depth of flavour. I am off to buy a case of….no more said!
