Pop and pour, but notes from 1.5 hrs open. This might bey favorite incarnation of this wine so far. Also apparently the vintage with the least whole cluster (15%). On the nose: lovely perfumed nose with sweet red raspberry, wild strawberry, loads of spice, soft herbal.notes. On the palate: excellent acidity and density: soft grapeseed notes, dark black raspberry, and soft, finely grained tannin on the finish. — 5 years ago
Perhaps the best Burgundy I had at this price. Soft on the nose but explodes with flavour on the palate. Some violet, baby powder, and unripe cherry on the palate. Fruity and velvety on the palate. Slightly bigger bodied than typical Burgundy. Clean finish with a little bit of grapeseed oil aftertaste. — 9 years ago
Grapeseed on nose and finish. Enjoying with colleagues on the Amstel River. — 10 years ago

4H Decant.
24H Update:
Nose has crushed granite, wet chalk, grapeseed oil, slivered almonds and vanilla. Palate has pineapple puree, ripe pear, lemon zest, turbinado sugar with medium acidity; a long life ahead. — 4 years ago

Pop and pour. About 3.5 yrs since my last btl. Once again, fantastic aromatics. On the nose: clove, soft cinnamon, pomegranate, brambles, soft blackberry..so compelling. On the palate: density has definitely picked up.from what I remember; some grapeseed, dark blackberry, bitter wood, and transitioning seamlessly to a slightly tannic finish. I'm still not entirely happy with the showing on the mid-palate, but the aromatics are compelling enough to make me almost not care. Paired with cauliflower steaks with nutritional yeasts and liquid aminos (yes, very vegan), and an assortment of other roast vegetables, prepared in different ways. An excellent pairing (ironically, bc of the bitterness on the palate with which I was less than enamored). — 5 years ago

One of the best Pinots I've ever had. Strawberry and spice and a little woodsy. Stunningly delicious. @Matthew Smith -- did this come to us via @GrapeSeed Wines ? If so, what are the chances of getting more? — 9 years ago
Pop and pour yesterday, notes from 24 hrs open, unrefrigerated on the counter. Sweet, sweet burgundian perfume: vosne spice, pomegranate, wild strawberry, soft herbal notes...On the palate: fantastic acidity, lovely density; more pomegranate, soft grapeseed notes, still very primary, but soft tannin on the delicate finish...Stunning. — 5 years ago
Will follow over a few days. Pop and pour, 1 hr slow ox. On the nose: lovely black cherry, some soft notes of stem inclusion, with loads of savory character and dry leafy notes. On the palate: fantastic acidity, with loads of earthy red fruit, some asian spice...good density, and very lightweight, with some very soft grapeseed and spice notes on the finish. Well balanced, delicate and so yummy. @James Sparks the hits keep coming!
Day 3: This sat on the counter unrefrigerated for two nights. And on the third night: an absolutely sublime perfume wafted from the glass. Very good for drinking now, but if this btl is representative, this will clearly benefit from 6-10 years of cellar time. Updating rating after day 3..wow; stunning. — 5 years ago
Baf food pairing (a rich lentil stew) made this initially come off as really flat. On the nose: soft wild strawberry, baking spice, jolly rancher. On the palate: ok acidity to start, a touch flat, mothball, then some grapeseed bitterness, and a very soft, very finely grained tannin. Very nice finish. This needs time, and a better food pairing. — 5 years ago

Pretty color of red with medium intensity.
Fresh nose of red fruits with light spices and light oak.
Light to medium in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with cherries, red currants, light oak, spices, chocolates, coffee and black pepper.
Medium length on the finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a tasty Pinot Noir from Sonoma Coast. Showing a soft mouthfeel, fruit forward and complex. Elegant and nicely balanced. Really loved the nose.
A good quality wine, easy drinking and good by itself or with food.
100% Pinot Noir grapes were aged in French oak barrels for 16 months. A tiny production of only 600 bottles.
14% alcohol by volume.
90 points.
