Solid Barbera. Good at pop and pour and two days later. Pleasant nose with raspberry and spice. Medium bodied with raspberry strawberry some cherry undergrowth some leather and pepper. Finish is medium length with tip of tongue dryness. — 9 months ago
A more gentle Nebbiolo. Light ruby color with a garnet rim. Aromas of sour red berry fruit, leather, forest floor and smoke. Sour cherry, cranberry and pomegranate fruit flavors with hints of tobacco, dark chocolate and earth. No obvious indication of oak aging. Tannins are relatively mild and pretty well integrated. Well concentrated but slightly out of balance. Somewhat elegant and restrained. Not what I expected. Thank you for the bottle, Ron B! — 3 days ago
Amazing, tasted at the winery, shipping some to our cellar. The 2020 is drinkable next year and will be perfect 2030-2045 — 7 months ago
18.5 deeply complex nose. Wonderful fruit! Fills palate . Very long. Brunello doesn’t get better than this! — 2 years ago
Unique Piemonte Favorita clone of Vermentino. Bright straw color. Aromas of unripe pear, white flowers and burnt rubber. The palate notes pear, lemon, fresh herbs and a distinct mineral note on the long finish. Crisp and bright acidity. A bit of heft. Quite good. Thank you for the bottle, Ron B! — 2 months ago
