2021 vintage. Excellent, entry-level producer into the vagaries of (red) Burgundy. Things only ramp up (SUBSTANTIALLY!!!) from here. 1er Cru juice in the bargain section. Focus, concentration, depth and subtlety all found within. Pick up a half-case or more for guilt-free, current pleasure. Underrated. — a year ago
Damn. Sangiovese done as beaujolais. Chill it slightly. Let it open. Beautiful. — 4 years ago

Holy cow, what a home run! This my friends its the taste of terroir. Dense and muscular, with a focused minerality that is keeping the beat.
Despite its youth it is very expressive and not holding back on its complexity. François Cotat La Grande Côte, a marvelous piece and an act in the magic of wine.
Pronounced intense aromas with a layered depth Lemon juice, kiwi, boxwood, dandelions almost reaching towards honey with a prominent Limestone mineraliy that is keeping the beat.
High piercing acidiy that cuts through the smooth and ripe edges. Dense and athletic on the mid palate with a layered complexity, salty backbone as it expands before closing up in a long tightening finish. — 4 years ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over a red sauce pasta night at home. High shoulder fill, but the cork completely disintegrated during removal. Juice is still drinking exceptionally well; shockingly fresh for being 40. Tons of black fruit and strong spices, with its age showing via expected tobacco and leather notes. Very structured via strong tannins and acidity; long and smooth / velvety finish...meaning this still has room to run. Cheers! — 7 months ago
The 2021 Vernaccia di San Gimignano Fiore is a blend of three clones taken from just free run juice. That approach yields a soft, creamy Vernaccia with gorgeous textural richness and fine balance. Orchard fruit, white flowers, mint, white pepper and a kiss of spice all build effortlessly. Beautifully persistent and classy, the Fiore is a winner from Montenidoli. Sipping Fine Wine
Produced from the "mosto flor" ("free-run juice") of sustainably grown and hand-harvested grapes. Ya means "yes!" in Spain. Straw yellow with good flow of tiny bubbles and light mousse. Stone fruit aromas with a vanilla nut fragrance. On the palate peach and citrus flavors, good balance, plenty of acidity and lingers nicely. — a month ago
