I think I mislabeled but can’t find anything closer!
Chianti is hit or miss for me and this one is more a hit. — 4 years ago
For non-merlot drinkers. Some rustic savory notes, nice tannins. Lolo — 5 years ago
We are kicking off the weekend with a beautiful Tempranillo blend tonight. We both ordered the Lobster and Shrimp Fra Diavolo fettuccine. The aromatics of this wine are fantastic. I get a lot of dried flowers and vanilla. Lisa picks up hints of almond extract and bubblegum. I know. Not a traditional note! On the palate there are great tastes of plums, wild berries and maybe strawberries. The tannins are still a little gritty but the acidity is perfect and keeps this wine very balanced. It paired very nicely with the spiceness of the fra diavolo. The finish is long but the tannic grip tells me this wine is still a baby. — 7 years ago
I liked it . Easy to drink, light, fruity. With Cecilia and monti (old Catalunya) — 8 years ago
Really colorful and lovely wine. I paired it with mussels fra diavolo and it complimented the dish in every way possible. Vibrant and exciting, drink this on its own or pair with something spicy. — 10 years ago

Good acid for a grape variety that gets me curious
A bit of maceration of the skin that gives it the extra bit of colour
Just a touch too tannic that perhaps wasn't needed considering the good freshness
Still ok, but less enjoyable than the Angelina drank the same night. — 5 years ago
I love an orange wine? — 6 years ago
Popped and poured out of a 1.5L and this was lights out good. I love the 2005 vintage in Barbaresco and this was a beautiful example and seemed to have so much left in the tank! The fruit was still bright and full of life. Tannins are still firm. Great acid for food and paired beautifully with frutta di mare fra diavolo. Secondary characteristics are just barely creeping into the fore. Wish I had another mag to drink in 2029. — 7 years ago
This is probably my favorite wine ever. It was recommended to me at a little Italian restaurant in Prague. I bought 3 bottles to take home. I would have bought a case if I hadn't been on foot. — 8 years ago
Wonderful. This was has impressively delicate minerality. Just a little acidic and warm. Lovely wine that I thoroughly enjoyed with mussels fra diavolo. — 10 years ago
Fresh, red fruited, spicy and cedar-y on the nose. The body brings fine-grained tannins and that alluring combo of dried fruits: cranberry, strawberry, and raspberry marinating in the fresh tart juice of said fruits. All is overlayed with black tea and just a hint of bell pepper. Good gosh, it is exactly what I love about Ripasso: richness lurks, but freshness prevails. — 2 years ago
It's a great, refreshing Sangiovese. If you like chianti, you'll love this. It's packed with flavor, but it's light and easy drinking and fruity with enough spice and herbs to balance it. I feel like I could take wine from the porch to the dining table to the couch.
Color: A dark clear Ruby color that goes kinda purple in color
Aroma: It's a strong fruity forward aroma that I easily smelled through my N95 mask (probably a knock off). It's a delicious and enticing aroma. I get dark fruits like sour cherry, some plum, and subtle nutty notes. It has a fruit forward aroma with some juiciness. It's a very inviting aroma.
Taste: Delicious. Reminds me od chianti which makes sense since many chiantis are Sangiovese. It's light and savory with some spice and herbs like parsley. It's finishes smooth with a slightly lingering finish that dusts the tongue and coats the mouth. There's plum flavours, some cherry, some spiciness, some herbaceous parsley Ness. It has good acid and low tannins. — 4 years ago
I really liked this, but it may not be for everyone. Heavy cherry flavor, almost too sweet, and a leather finish. But I really enjoyed drinking it. — 5 years ago
— 6 years ago

Bløt og fin fra en årgang som visstnok ikke er så bra i Spania. Lang ettersmak, myke tanniner (tror jeg) — 8 years ago
