Grant Station Russian River Valley Carignane 2016

Briary black fruit berry characteristics. Savory finish. Delightful with chocolate cake. I am sure bbq steak, lamb or chicken would really work with this. — 4 years ago

Coming down the curve, but enjoyed by all. Still somewhat tannic, which will outlive the fruit — 8 months ago

Russian River Valley Petite Sirah 1994

Amazing! Dark, brooding, blackberry blossom aroma. Lively fruit with full bodied, complex tannin. Length really opened up with food. Cork was perfect! — 4 years ago

They have to be one of the only wineries making Petite Sirah in Russian River. That wine was probably released that $12- 14 dollars a bottle. Bravo, Matt.

I’ve been very lucky to try some 25+ year old Petite Sirah over the last year and am very impressed with its aging potential, particularly on the complexity of the tannin. It really does thrive in cooler climates.
