Finca Los Trenzones

Los Carneros Pinot Noir

Beautiful garnet color.
Fruit forward on the nose.
Balanced. Juicy without being jammy. Lingering flavor with a dry finish. Blackberry notes with low acidity.

Bodegas Los Astrales

Astrales Ribera del Duero Tempranillo 2004

Andrew Holod

From magnum to share w a generous neighbor's smoked brisket. This wine shows Eduardo Garcia as a young wine making genius. Great quality raw materials, careful winemaking and a result that was sublime. In this wine Eduardo's education in Bordeaux can be tasted. Mineral, stony, savory, plum, confit dried fruits the list goes on, though, even in magnum, the wine doesn't. — 13 days ago

This is an amazing Merlot. The floral notes tickle your nose. Then the taste... plum, hints lavender, and spices. Loving every sip. — 8 days ago

Terrazas de Los Andes

High Altitude Vineyards Malbec 2017

Cherry, an earthy note, violet, some spices too. The palate is well designed and quite fresh, with a strong acid backbone, a beautiful cherry note all along, a good width and a soft mouthfeel. The mid palate builds up slowly and expands nicely, with a slight layer of grainy tannins. The finsih is long and fruity with a spicy note. This wine is very precise with that sheer acid drive, you can bet it was grown in high altitude from that freshness and that energy. Good one! — 14 days ago
