A very energetic mouthful, somehow ripe and pulling it own weight (with acidic towing equipment) so you don’t feel the weight but you know it has a body, like me in an empire waist dress. Zingy ripe raspberry makes friends with preserved lemon while white toast and white pepper duel it out as to who is the loudest (but not the whitest we know the toast wins that). Really a delicious steal from Tasmania. — a year ago
Purchased this wine at Empire State of Wine, these guys are great, they offer fantastic recommendations — 4 years ago
Dark purple. Dry. Medium plus tannins. Med acid. 13.5% abv. Dark berries, plum. Ripe. A bit of that Douro funk that I’m looking for, but not quite there. Med plus body. Would do well with food. — a month ago
Aetheric and elegant and so Burgundian.
Ripe yellow apple, (over)ripe lemon, subtle butterscotch, shortbread and some nice, cool minerality.
Amazing purity and precision here. Blind - a classic, textbook Puligny!
Beautiful balance on the palate, a touch of creaminess but brilliant precision - creamy lemons on a bed of rocky, stony minerality. Great depth and energy here. And elegance. And length. This is complex and complete and bordering on profound. And yet, so drinkable! The bottle disappeared instantly!
A perfect modern, cool climate Chardonnay?
What a wine!!

Vinho Branco 2021 - very good, smooth buttery mouthfeel but still has a crisp taste. Strong enough to go with spicy meaty dishes even for a white. — 3 months ago

Rich and mouth filling in the luscious Felton Road style. Only 20% whole bunch letting the quality of the ripe fruit speak. Intense red and black fruits - raspberry to the fore. This is just a “village “ wine in comparison to their illustrious Block 3 and Block 5 but it more than holds its own. Impossible not to enjoy this wine. — 6 days ago
