Wonderful FLX Riesling! Big apple/pear fruit that almost seems sweet at first. But then the acidity takes over and balances the wine beautifully. Hint of petrol. Very Germanic and extremely well made. EE is an extremely underrated FLX producer.

Touches down on the palate with a perceived sweetness that quickly dissipates to reveal a lovely and balanced Riesling. I already regret not buying another bottle while in NYC last weekend, since this is tougher to find than I thought.

Feb 10th, 2019As someone who drinks a shit ton of riesling, I confidently declare this the best domestic riesling! Though labeled a dry/trocken wine this drinks like an off dry. Reminds me of Rheingau in style. Go get you some reserve!
