A honeyed, aromatic beauty. Grilled pineapple, apricot, and white peach, pain grillé, marzipan, lychee, rose petal, clay pot, acerola cherry, sandalwood. On the palate, it’s viscous with notes of beeswax and lanolin. Salty homemade play-doh. Savory with bright acidity and a long, honeyed finish. Interesting and complex wine. A bitter rose/copper colored. Accessible and easy to drink with quite some tropical fruit, but also some butter and toast. Acidity for enough bite and velvety for pairing with rich fish. — 2 years ago
