Silky with soft front end, full bodied, nice color, smooth finish. Imbalanced oak overtones. Nice wine under $20. — 3 months ago
Aroma smells like candy, very light bubbles. Extremely smooth, light guava and citrus flavors. — a year ago
Cannot go wrong with 2018 vintage on most central Tuscan wines and this isn’t an exception. A nice, inexpensive, appealing and approachable Sangiovese driven with a gentle tannins, bright orange acidity, juicy cranberry, ripe red cherries and spice and subtle touch of oak. A perfect pizza companion wine for a casual drinking! — a month ago
2021 vintage. A bit of everything. Esteemed producer. Excellent nose. Front-palate richness. Mid-palate power and presence. Pleasantly astringent and beyond substantial finish. I usually eschew Barbera d'Alba for the resto list but couldn't deny this one. Picked up two cases and may pick up more to have laying around for 1.5-2 years. At the ridiculous resto price of $26.67, I can't afford not to. So delicious. 01.29.25. — 3 months ago

カヴァを超えたカヴァ。細かい泡、クリーンな香りにナッツやブリオッシュのニュアンス。ほとんどシャンパンのような最強のカヴァ。モンラッシュグラスで。@Carino — 7 months ago
While their lower end wines, still quite good, are available in stores, the top-shelf TdO wines must be purchased directly from the winery, While a bit jammy for a cocktail wine, this is a great accompaniment for spicy foods. We enjoyed it with spicy Cajun chicken sausage dirty rice. The acidity cut the oils nicely, and the jammy residual sugars balanced out the spice quite well. This is your archetypal Amador Zin, with lots of blackberry and currant flavors. It’s usually better than the flagship Home Vineyard product! — a year ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of three hours. The 2015 pours a beautiful garnet color with a transparent core; medium+ viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe and some tart red fruits: Morello cherry, raspberry, blood orange, black tea, red flowers, licorice, leather, exotic spices, and dry stony earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and savory. This needed about an hour in the decanter before it really began to strut its stuff but when it did, holy smokes, it was out of this world. A brilliant wine and a beautiful expression of Sangiovese and Montalcino. What a lovely treat. Drink now through 2045. — 6 days ago
