The aroma of toast is very powerful upon popping the cork. I was worried it may be too brutish but the taste is very pleasant. The sparkling drop is tangy at first but leaves a freshness lingering in the palate. Throughly recommended. — 4 years ago
Wow! Fabulous from very old Tempranillo vines in Roa Del Duero. The Esteban family maintains their 60 ha of vines meticulously using extensive biodynamic practices and precise winemaking. It shows in the wine. Black fruit and currants meld harmoniously with hints of tobacco, coffee, licorice, and mineral. The texture is rich; the concentration of fruit is dense. This is a seriously good bottle of wine that WS gave 96 pts. 2016 vintage on Feb 11, 2020 — 5 years ago

Buy again - quite sweet for a red - just exactly up my alley as a dessert wine kinda girl. — 3 years ago
Tastes like subtle red berries, flinty and terroir. Rated 92 by James Suckling. Soft tannins - not hearty but not as berry flavored as other Garnacha wines. — 4 years ago
This is quickly becoming my favorite Malbec! Deep flavors including butter. Wonderful! — 5 years ago
