Notes of underripe plum and blackberry with a touch of gravel and black pepper. Underripe fruit on the palate that leans to the darker side. Some cranberry in there as well. Bright acidity and fairly course tannins that leave astringency.

Mountain wine indeed. Burley, structured, and wild (not in a brett way though; it's clean). Needs air and food, but still good.
