Lovely rendition had recently. Smooth, lighter red cherry profile. Nice acidity for food. Impressive for ebony young. — 9 years ago
The cork was crumbly and dark red on the exterior. We were worried! The nose: bark and broccoli the color: dark ebony w a rim of blood red...at first acidic, the wine opened up quickly: tingling, awake, robust even if not overpowering. — 9 years ago
Evil Twin Brewing Double Barrel Jesus. Yet another masterpiece from my friend, brewmaster Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø. Inky, coal black, ebony color. Aromas of espresso, mocha fudge brownies and the darkest of dark fruits. The absolute creamiest of textures. Gives a whole new meaning to “Mocha Cappuccino.” Positively chewy. Those oak barrels are magic. I’ve never really been a “beer guy.” I could appreciate a good stout, but Jeppe just knocks the cover off the ball. I find his work as contemplative as a fine wine. I’m serious when I say that I’d like to bottle some wine with this guy. Start thinking of a good label name Jeppe! — 7 years ago
Wedding gift from @Kyle Harvey and one my favorite go to Willamette Pinots. Great consistency and this vintage hits the mark. Delicate but well developed flavors of strawberry, fresh cut flowers, and a little ebony and ivory (aka chocolate and vanilla) with a lingering finish. Great QPR! — 8 years ago
Really quite pleasant $13 — 9 years ago
First, I have to comment on the packaging. Simple and elegant, with a simple waxed top which makes for a beautiful bottle. The wine itself is lovely and exemplifies the precision to be found in the 2014 vintage of Oregon Chardonnay. A hint of reduction on the nose, with fresh lemon curd, baby's breath, and green corn husk filling it out. Bright with bracing citrus upon entry, giving way green apples and pears, and finishing with peppery notes. The oak and vanilla show a bit on the mid to back palate, but mellows a bit after a while. Be great to check on in a few years. — 8 years ago
I really like this port! — 8 years ago
Ebony fruit. Electric acid, and a little cabbage-y. Porous structure and very generous. More smooth than a stick of butta. Very yum. — 9 years ago
Smokey and rich. Stellar wine — 11 years ago

Ebony dark with short head that diminishes to cirrus surface swirls. Pumpkin pie with baked crust and actual pumpkin smells to boot. Caramelized gourd sugars. Vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. Cola weight, but tea textured, with coffee aspirations. Tastes of vanilla-cinnamon cookie, gingerbread, anise, allspice, caraway and pine nettle. Expressive in a chai sort of way with a tingle of sarsaparilla. Actually capturing pumpkin in there was a plus. In Florida these seasonal brews remind us what season it is. First of the patch. — 5 years ago
