Bought, just after release and a great tasting, at the Chateau !
Decanted for 3 hours!
Dark in color, a great nose with cassis fruit, blueberries, smooth cedar notes, earth, pencil shavings. Lovely nose with black fruit aromas, very ripe black berries, liquorice, tobacco and smoky notes, medium to full bodied palate with layers of spicy black fruits, silky textured with ripe form tannins, liquorice, dark chocolate and mineral notes. Made from 50% Garnacha and 50% Cariñena from 50+ years old vines!
Great nose of ripe blackberries, plum, smoky, herbs from the hills of Poboleda, espresso and Llicorella!
On the palate again these great black fruit flavors, truffle, a juicy acidity, very smooth tannins, and a long aftertaste. Great job Salvador!!! 95 DSP — a year ago
