💫 Crisp. Dry. Unapologetically Texan.
This rosé walks the line between porch pounder and pink power suit. Pale salmon in the glass with clean, lean fruit—think strawberry skin, watermelon rind, and a whiff of West Texas wind. Bone dry but bright, with just enough acidity to cut through BBQ or stand solo at golden hour.
Finishes clean, slightly herbal, and refreshingly grown-up. No sugar, no fluff—just cowboy boots in a ballet class.

Absolutely gorgeous and unique. For a 23yo wine the complexity on the nose and palate is still bumpin, and the tannins are silky and smooth, with a little grab here and there just to let you know it’s past. Nose of rich dark berries, old driftwood (from Collin) with a medium body that’s fruit forward, somewhat smoky, and beautifully balanced with hints of dried herbs, and sage. Absolutely amazing. — 2 years ago
Had it first at @grapetownvineyard near #fredericksburg and bought the bottle. Had our perfect occasion to open it up and it didn’t disappoint. Medium to full body, not sweet but certainly not on the drier side either—just perfectly balanced with flavor palate of cherry, oak, plum, and blackberry notes. Went well with brick oven pizza after a long day of moving into my honey’s new home. Definitely going to Driftwood, Texas to visit the actual vineyard soon. Great for gifting, special occasions, and romantic evenings. — a year ago

Slightly less than translucent lemon jello body with a shocking white top that reduces to moonscape petri. Lacing of popped bubble letters, ropy driftwood and boomerangs, rests injured under a stretched gauze and morel motif. Super lemon zest and candied embodiments. Torch-fired aluminum mineral manifestations, Salinity-piths abound, featuring lime, grapefruit, kumquat and mellow notes of sweet yellow micro tomatoes, miracle fruit lemongrass-steel.

This is a big one, bold, juicy, with real presence of the 16% alcohol despite the age. Nose of blackberry, pine wood, vanilla, band-aid, somewhat musty clothes, and cacao. The age is definitely there in the musk and dustiness, but it’s unclear what to expect with a beast like this. Full bodied, dark purple/red and deep color, but no sense of the age in the color. Palate shows more of the age, deep chocolate notes, overripe plum, driftwood, slate and some malo-like milky elements. The alcohol is definitely there, with a finish like menthol, softened but present, well integrated tannins, with those Chico-raspberry like hints lingering for a long time into a finish that’s round and somewhat meaty. Weirdly, VERY strangely, tastes a little bit like skin. — 17 days ago
