Gorgeous Alpine red with a bright purple hue. Offers some slightly grilled scents and earthy tones featuring rose petals, white pepper, and dried leaves. Not a TON of fruit but I’m picking up on dark cherries. Super tight with a highly structured body that melts quickly with heat into plums and more cherries. Long dry finish. — 2 months ago
Picked up this 2021 in Boston never knew Gamay was grown in Valle d’Aoste. Bright cherry and rhubarb. Nice structure . Like a good Beaujolais Village — 13 days ago
The minerality is pronounced. Floral notes are there in the next level. And there is some restrained fruit. The length is nice. This a distinctive highb altitude and pre-phloxerra wine of character. — 8 days ago
Needs a bit of breathing but otherwise a nice light Zin like red — 2 months ago
My first taste of this obscure varietal; in fact, I've only seen it produced by Grosjean. When I first poured it I couldn't decide if it was a really light red or a really dark rosé. But when I had my first taste I decided that it drank much more like a rosé. Delicious floral aromas and flavors of strawberry and rhubarb. 100% Premetta. 3/4/23. — 6 months ago
