Not bad at all, with slight spice notes, which I like. It will not be for everyone, but definitely with buying. — 4 years ago

Blackberries and blueberries, with some raspberries initially, which fade some after opening. Also salt, with hints of green bell peppers, caramel, and pork fat. Good acidity to balance, low-ish tannins, and very approachable. Wine Spectator said 90 points, and I have to agree. — 7 years ago
Beautiful evening with the loved ones and this guy out of Spain. Interesting blend of grenache merlot syrah and carignan.. heavy cedar and leather to the nose. Plum blueberry cedar leathers and dust to the palate. A very bit hot ... HOT!!! With almost 15 percent alcohol content. Med plus finish but hot. — 8 years ago
Light and fruity. Was a great pairing with Pancetta Carbonara. — 8 years ago
This is the Foxmoth Merlot. Delectable didn't have this label. Hopefully, they fix. Lovely plum, dark cherries, blackberries, blueberries, black licorice, light nose of tarriness and minerals. Palate of; black cassis, blackberries, blueberries, dark cherries, warm spice, round full tannins, black licorice, soft leather, light baking spices, crushed rocks with black soils and long good presence medium spice. — 9 years ago

Medium garnet; medium plus intensity aromas of blackberry, black plum, subtle kalamata, tomato leaf, black pepper, dried herbs; dry, medium acid, medium plus tannins, high alcohol, medium plus intensity flavors with more perfume on the palate than on the nose, some spice and vanilla; medium plus finish, complex, concentrated, and good varietal flavors — 5 years ago
Cassis, black fruits, violets and red liquorice nose. Well structured on the palate with bright, floral acidity, and soft, subtle tannins. Short, pleasant finish that pairs well with a bit of char, and unique BBQ flavours. — 8 years ago
