-Earthy on nose, sous bois with syrup and red fruit
-Brighter more acid on palette. Brighter red fruit — 2 years ago
Still a bit of fruit and acid, but still a good amount of tannin. Hold for a few more years. — 8 years ago
Deeep purple color.
Aromas of blueberry Danish, buttered brioche, baked blackberry, vanilla.
Dry. Flavors of cassis, blackberry jam, peppercorn, thyme, black tea. Rich, chewy tannins. Beautiful!

Great nose! Chewy and delicious. — 6 years ago
Opens up with forest floor and wet leaves scents. Deep and balanced flavors continue to the end. Very good — 8 years ago
This is one of those ultra interesting white wines. The nose has this raw leather componen, butter, and dry earth and spices. The palate is incredible with unctuous coating of minerals and umami. This was a food pairing exercise for me. Tried with spicy red chile ground turkey, sautéed chicken, green chile pork, and vegan mushroom dish. Vegan dish is the winner. Cheers. — 10 months ago
Minerality for days! Long finish with a mushroom character to boot. I need oysters — 8 years ago
Forest floor and underbrush, in a medium bodied with some dark red fruit notes. Drinks great considering vintage and cost. — 9 years ago

Blackberry, cassis, vanilla, coconut, dark chocolate, smoked ribs, forest floor, graphite, game, leather, sweet baking spices. Such an oak bomb but with loads of grilled meaty ashy charcoal. Wet crushed dark stones. Guilty pleasures. — 9 months ago
