Honey! Oak aroma. Citrus and acidity. A bit bitterness. Minerally. Goo in suitable temperature, not too low. balanced between sweetness and bitterness. Bourgogne Blanc 2016 @1170(1800), Eva - XH, 200314-200321 — 5 years ago

A gamay that thinks it's a pinot noir. — 9 years ago
Gamay of « great » Burgundy which means that it is somewhere between the gamay style of Beaujolais and Burgundian winemaking. We have a floral and aerial character reminiscent of Chiroubles or Fleurie, with notes of medley evolution, undergrowth reminiscent of Burgundy pinots-noirs. The finish is salivating (almost saline) on greedy acidity. 2016 is to drink now.

On a un caractère floral et aérien qui rappelle Chiroubles ou Fleurie, avec des notes d’évolution pot-pourri, sous-bois qui rappellent les pinots-noirs bourguignons. Beautiful nose of cherries. Very nice acidity with light tannins — 6 years ago
With the Chateau des Jacques-wine from the same parcel in Moulin-a-Vent fresh in mind; I find a darker color; a more flowery "glade-plug-in" viol scent; and a rich balanced fruity taste with well-integrated oak. Clearly better than the previous wine and an excellent Cru Beaujolais! — 9 years ago

Beaujolais Cru est arrive! Moulin-à-vent tasting.
Destemmed, Burgundian elevage. Comes from clay rich site. Dense and concentrated with fuller body. Pommard with accentuated fruit.
2015 is a great vintage in Beaujolais. Another great vintages are 2011 and 2009.

Nose is high toned with red and black cherry. Very pitty. Ripe but also a serious granite underlining. Very refined for 15. Good berry fruit almost cassis as well. It’s very clean and pure. Palate is complex, deep and juicy with really terrific tannins and mouthfeel. It’s tannins are so special and sweeten out on the finish. Long. Exceptional balance and purity. Love how this is like Bordeaux meets Gamay. A bit hot. I can any other vintage this being not hot and I’d have a higher score. It’s all there except the heat. — 6 years ago
Closed up. Maybe air would help, might be too cold. Still I enjoy what's there. — 9 years ago
