Animalistic, stablelike on the nose, almost worrying but it opens up well on the palate. The fruit is hidden deep inside the layers of age but still resides there like a living heart. Pleasant acidity and the last shade of tannins keep things interesting. Lovely! — 9 years ago
Old beaujolais nouveau is better than you might think. The banana candy attack is a bit more subdued. The acidity is clearer. Bit of strawberry. — 9 years ago
Wonderful little ball of harmony. Plenty of fruit that doesn't have me miss the cab sav at all. A great wine. — 8 years ago
Fruity and drinkable barolo. Tannins like a whisper and a stirring soft alcoburn. — 8 years ago
Velvetlike in its softness. More earthy and herbaceaous than fruity. Light and elegant, for a barolo mind you, but its from the western side. — 9 years ago
Banana flavoured candy foam all over the place. Its beaujolais nouveau time and the gluggability goes through the roof. Light, simple and fun. — 9 years ago
Buttery, pure citrus acidity, notes of cloudberry and fatty, raw nuts. Pure, intense wine of excellent quality. — 8 years ago
Big on red fruit and firm yet yielding tannin structure. Herbal notes and blood orange zest. One of the better Chateauneufs I've had. — 9 years ago
Mellowed out very well with only the slightest harsh edge left. Peppery, rich reserves of cherry still left clear notes of iron and blood. A very pure barolo maybe even simple. — 9 years ago

No thanks. Fruit has faded a lot. Lacto and a bit of mushrooms. Acidic and unpleasantly harsh unless you drink it abnormally cold for a red. What's the hype about? This tastes cheap and terrible. — 8 years ago
