Goulée Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend 2019

Really delicious with medium weight, red and black fruits, and silky tannins. Drinking beautifully at this point. — 10 days ago

Château Lilian Ladouys

Saint Estèphe Red Bordeaux Blend 2009

Tried a few timed. Aged well. The vines of Lilian-Ladouys are found a stone's throw from the Graves of Cos d'Estournel and the Chateau Lafite-Rothschild. Deep Ruby, with inky tones. Aromas of black and blue fruit, smoky notes and soft spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and plum with toasty oak flavors, full body with fine round tannins, long finish ending with earthy mineral character. — 3 years ago

@delectable: it’s the white Pagodes de Cos (sauvignon Blanc/Semillon) and “Angelique” is not supposed to be in the denomination of this wine. — 3 days ago

Château Calon-Ségur

Saint-Estèphe Red Bordeaux Blend 2020

Delectable Wine
9.4

The 2020 Calon-Ségur is allowed to open for over 90 minutes, unfurling in the glass with blackberry and bilberry scents, cedar and floral scents (almost identical to how it showed in barrel.) It just oozes pedigree. The palate is medium-bodied with svelte tannins and quite plush red fruit. It is very well balanced without the backbone and depth of say, Montrose or Cos d'Estournel. It has gained a bit of heft on the finish during its élevage. However, it fans out in assured fashion. This should drink beautifully for 25 to 30 years.
