Aerated through the Coravin aerator. Deep garnet purple. Abundant nose of cassis, plum, and blackberry cobbler. Medium palate echoes the nose adding black cherry and a hint of graphite on the medium finish. Medium plus acidity. Medium, non-assertive tannins. The second label is already hitting its stride. Ready for everything you’ll be taking the first label to in a decade or two. Drink now through opening the first bottles of the big guy!

Popped yesterday afternoon, on the counter unrefrigerated overnight, even though it ended up being a pretty hot day today. Notes from today. On the nose: lovely St. Estephe earth, inflected with soft charcoal and vegetal notes, layered over dark blackberry. On the palate: excellent acidity, more blackberry, soft black pepper, a touch of charcoal.and a hint of green pepper, very soft tannin on the finish, which just caresses the palate with lingering velvet.. just lovely today. No rush, but don't hesitate to drink now with sufficient air.

Very masculin wine with granite, tar, leather, liquorice notes with amazingly soft silky tannin. It opens in 30 min to this explosion of aforementioned notes with black fruit in the background. Green bell pepper in the background give away the youth. It should develop very well over the years. Great length: good 35 seconds on the palate. Now I need to try the real deal COS from the same vintage.

Tasty. We love the first label and happily settle for the 2nd label as more affordable.

Didn’t do it for me. Was expecting more from a second wine in a great year.
