Round, creamy chateau Neuf white. For a white it tastes much better after decanting for 30 min. Opens up with buttery earthy mushroom notes. Goes beautifully with some creamy Epioisse type cheese. Certainly a very nice food wine. — 7 years ago

This #rhone region isn't just for red wines. #châteauneufdupape makes very nice whites as evidenced by this example. Just a touch of floral notes plus nutty aromas. Medium light body and buttery finish make for a great wine to drink on 80°F plus Houston winter day. — 7 years ago

Wonderfully elegant wine with layers of complexity. French onion soup on the nose. Charred chestnuts, roasted mushrooms, stewed red fruit, cloves and prunes. Chocolate and white pepper on the long, focused finished. — 7 years ago
