Slightly funky nose at first and then shifts to more classic Chard aromas. The acidity is backward at first and then it opens up and gets more tension to go along the nice roundness and freshness, pretty good balance and nice wine without being great. 88-89

Nez un peu bizarre à l’ouverture mais cela s’estompe sur des arômes classiques de Chardo. La tension est un peu en retrait au départ mais avec de l’air l’acidité se montre plus présente pour en faire un bel ensemble, ouvert, assez rond et frais, rien d’exceptionnel mais très bien.

A winegrower that I have been following with passion for several years: Explosive bouquet of fruits and flowers, enhanced with cinnamon notes. A "natural" Beaujolais Gamay, light and crunchy in the first hours after opening. Then the wine unfolds and unfolds again. After 12 hours, the wine is round. The acidity is lively and the tannins are both tight and opulent. It is delicate and full. Wonderful on a home-made marguerita pizza (with arugula).

Un vigneron que je suis depuis quelques années avec passion. Bouquet explosif de fruits et de fleurs, rehaussé de notes cannelées. Un gamay « nature » du Beaujolais, léger et croquant au premières heures après l’ouverture. Puis le vin se déploie et se déploie encore. Après 12h on a un vin rond, ample, l’acidité est vive et les tanins sont à la fois serrés et opulents. C’est fin délicat et ample. Round and supple, with a very generous body on the usual notes of well-crafted Syrah: blackberries, blueberries, chocolate, roasting, caramel, tapenade, pepper, violet. The attack is fresh, and the finish not that long, but the whole is very mastery. The perfect wine for grilled meat, pepper or shallot sauce.

Rond et souple, avec un corps très gourmand sur les notes habituelles de la Syrah bien travaillée: mûres, myrtille, chocolat, torréfaction, caramel, tapenade, poivre, violette. L’attaque est fraiche, et la finale pas si longue, mais l’ensemble est d’une grandes maîtrise. Le vin parfait pour une viande grillée, sauce poivre ou échalote. — 6 years ago

Très surprenant. Un vin à $16 (SAQ-Cellier) qui passe super bien. Sec 2.5g de sucre, fruits rouges, mi-corsé, très rond, bien équilibré, descend très bien, très fluide. 90% Sangiovese 10% Carbernet Sauvignon, c’est comme un Chianti mais non assemblé selon les normes, mais il est très bon. — 2 years ago
