In the BA first. Class lounge at IAD. Very tannic and earthy and enjoyable. Otherwise classic French. — a year ago
Delicious merlot. Had at Casa Coupage in BA — 5 years ago
One of the hottest vintages on record in Europe was handled quite well, if not exceedingly well, in Germany. This Saar Auslese 375ml acts more like a Gold Cap, if not a BA without botrytis. Coconut milk, mango, and papaya. Offering silky, supple texture with adequate acidity to keep it fresh and harmonious these past 20 years, with many more ahead. — 6 months ago

When in Argentina drink…..rose? Syrah based rose from the extreme North of Argentina, in Juyjuy, just south of Bolivia & Paraguay. At 15.1% abv a “ light” red. Fresh cut wild strawberries soaked in rum, & sure, runs a bit hot but who’s counting when drinking rose in BA. Apparently some young, brave guns making wine this far north & it’s delicious. Enough balance to keep things lip smacking. — a year ago

Fantastic acidity, loads of peppery spice, deeply fruited core, pineapple-mango-passionfruit sherbet, orangepeel shavings. Dense and concentrated, almost BA in style.
Very impressive.
Just perfect accompaniment for a big chunk of foie. — 3 years ago

Well crafted BA wine with terrific purity of fruit: orange blossom, apricot, mango, pineapple, ripe apple, wet stone, yellow plum, and white peach. The sweetness is exceptionally well balanced by crisp acidity and well defined fruit. Great purity - excellent. — 23 days ago
