Pretty volatile soon after pouring. Calmed down with some time in the glass. But still unlikely to please everyone. The carbonic maceration is evident. With all of this, I ended up finding it to be an interedting and enjoyable expression of terroir. — 6 months ago
Medium Ruby red color with aromas of red fruits, floral and spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with notes of black pepper, nuts and spice. Fine tannins, long juicy savory finish, ending with fruit, cacao, spice and slight earthy notes. Drink well now, will cellar! — 20 days ago

On the nose, this is subtle cranberry... On the palate, it's cranberry, cherry, red plum... Dense tannin here but no sharp edges... A tinge on graphite here too, but in the distance... The whole package seems soft... Not so complex overall. Medium-long length on the finish. Nice. — 3 months ago
One of my bottles from my annual WWC hosting. Part of a Grenache flight (including ‘19 Rotie Cellars “Big G”, ‘19 Saint-Damien Souteyrades Gigondas, ‘18 Andremily Grenache).
80% Grenache/ 20% Mourvèdre
I’m a fan of this Gigondas producer and think the wines exhibit an excellent value. After the first two Grenache wines, we take a dark (profile) turn here. Classical garrigue, dark potpurri, and spiced blackberries aromatically, with some leather and tobacco as well. Dark black fruits dominate the palate surrounded by bitter dark chocolate, black pepper, hint of charcoal and mineral. Concentrated but not sweet. In a delicious window now but benefitted from the air it got…no rush. — a month ago

Lemon meringue, pineapple juice, lime zest, tropical melons, white & yellow peach, bruised apple to cider, bruised apple, hues of golden apple, caramel notes, cream to whipped, brioche, white spice, crumbled, dry chalk, limestone marl, sea spray to fossils, white spring flowers, yellow lilies, racy acidity, nice balance, neatly tensioned finish that lands on minerality and lasts a full minute. — 6 months ago
