13.8% ABV Deep dark color, great aromatics, end of cork is very dark in color. Very good Syrah. Cheers Karen & Matt! — 4 months ago
2020. The Pierson Meyer Sonoma Chardonnays I’ve loved have all had several years of age on them, so this recent release has a little different balance of oak, fruit, and acidity. The more of everything currently showing this wine probably helped it pair well with a curried squash soup. — 5 months ago

dry - def leans brut sparkling wine
getting citrus notes from the taste - lemon, orange (?), less fruity/fruit forward
blend of grapes, complex, subdued flavors throughout
stoler says earthy, but yeah, not getting that …
would drink again

Vintage 2018 | No colour adjustments, light pear and honey in smell, the honey comes back in a refined taste, well balanced sweet and acidity. I do like my kabinett older but it certainly improves each year. Always comforting to taste Merkelbach. | paired with melon and ham and filled bell peppers from the oven. — 12 days ago
