Ruby red with vibrant highlights. The head aroma is toasty oak, followed by black cherries, blackberries, black olives and mint. Lovely midpalate that’s lush and silky smooth with soft tannin and flavors of black cherries, cranberries, vanilla, and chocolate covered raisins. The description: This wine was crafted mainly from Grenache and Carignan grapes from several carefully selected terroirs in the Aude department, where the hot, dry, and extremely sunny climate allows for optimal ripening of the grapes.

With its pale pink colour, this wine is brilliant in aspect. It is extremely fruity and fragrant, with powerful aromas of strawberry, sour cherry and grenadine along with citrus notes (pink grapefruit). It is extremely fresh and easy-drinking, bold, round and long on the palate with flavours reminiscent of fruit drop candies, peach and redcurrant, finishing on a note of grapefruit.

Note : A fine and almost transparent dress on a visual of grenadine, at the beginning and a bottom in the cocoon of the glass, a red pure blood. It is a 100% Sangiovese that is complex in aroma but also elegant and very classy. On the nose, floral notes and spices to accompany red fruits. In the mouth, the flavors are gradually emerging to offer a pleasant taste balance with a divine final. 4.5 / 5 because it lacks a little body but already promises a lot.

Une robe fine et presque transparente sur un visuel de grenadine, au début et une fond dans le cocon du verre, un rouge sang pur. C’est un 100% Sangiovese qui est complexe en arôme mais également élégant et très classe. Au nez, des notes florales et d’épices pour s’accompagner de fruits rouges. En bouche, les saveurs se profilent petit à petit pour proposer un équilibre gustatif agréable avec un final divin. 4.5/5 car il manque un peu de corps mais promet déjà beaucoup.

Dark Bing cherry hue. Aroma is potent. Pie filling and cobblers. Slight incense and cedar shingles. (Aude says stale bread). Flavor is straight French. Dark inky, chewy, bitter. Lots of tannins in the finish. The Franc really comes through. A wine that would divide. Not for the American palate. Nor weak of heart. But I love this kinda thing. — 8 years ago
