Bottled in 2021. Tawny red/brown color. Aromas and flavors of raisins, plums, dates, caramel, orange peel and bitter chocolate. Bright acidity (very noticeable) and very nice balance. Soft texture and mellow. Ripe, supple and rich. Just a touch jammy but still quite the Crowd pleaser! — 10 months ago
So heady. Walnuts and chocolate nose. Fig, cola, cinnamon, lush. A little burn in the byke but birth year vintage port can't be beat. Drinks only mildly sweet nie. — 7 years ago

Because everyone should drink port before noon on a Sunday, that's why. And a nice one this is. Pleasant thick dark fruit up front, Sweet Mother Alcohol coming through to remind you you're about to be on the impaired side of the equation. A good lingering of dark fruit finishes things off well. — 5 years ago
Leckere Portwein bei meiner Schwiegermutter aus Portugal — 8 years ago
Deep yellow. Grandpa's vitamins on the nose. Very focused mid pallet. Acid shows late on the finish. Soft mouthfeel and no real alcohol burn. I think I'll have another glass! — 9 years ago

Fantastic -little shy and took a couple of hours to ILE , but then it unfurled an impressive & complex nose of dark fruit & licorice, vanilla, mocha, freshly turned soil, some brambly and twigs, underbrush. Just really generous, leading to med + body and lush dark fruit on palate. Seamless balance of tannins & acidity, easy drinking yet structured. Some refinement here - didn’t notice any sign of age. Real gem w/solid QPR — 8 months ago
