Delicious! Smooth, velvet and goes down easy. — 2 years ago
A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Tempranillo. Cultivated organically in a “biodiversity reserve” in the Castilla la Mancha región near Valencia but outside of any DO, so technically it is an IGT. Black pepper, sweet blackberries, and smoke on the nose, with black cherry, spice, dark chocolate on the palate. Smooth tannins and acidity. A medium long, sweet finish, with I imagine some residual sugar here, (I bet it’s right on the line), but it is still a dry wine. Super easy to drink! — 5 years ago
Enjoyed this for years, but hadn’t seen it in a while and realized they changed their label - big time. Still great QPR: Tempranillo but darker fruit profile, licorice, earthy, swarthy, musky w/vanillin notes as well. Great complexity, enticing nose - equally delightful on palate, darker fruit but more like black cherry. Sturdy tannins, not elegant but provincial w/decent balance - just enough acidity to make it food friendly for charcuterie. — 6 months ago

Good berry nose. Subdued cherry. Dark wine. Cassis, vanilla. Puckery tannin. Pretty good. — 5 years ago

果味不重,单宁强劲但很顺,核桃香气比较明显,入口后有明显的灌木丛气息,还是很适合重口味群体滴。 — a year ago

I’m a sucker for Spanish Tempranillo. This wine seems less fruity and simultaneously more tannic than what I normally have. But still delicious. This is my first non Rioja Tempranillo. This is from the Castilla and Leon region. Typical? I’m eager to find out. — 6 years ago
