Medium-full. Drinks nicely after airing out. Would enjoy again! — 2 months ago
A very nice wine. Beautifully aged — 6 months ago
The label would normally be off putting to me, but I’m always interested in a female vintner, especially when she is the daughter of a famous Portuguese maker. What a revelation-drinks more like a sparkling Savoie or alpine rose. Close to the bone dry. Lovely pink color. Fine mousse. I love that label now…. — 8 months ago
A traditional Portuguese (Dao) red blend made from nine different local varieties. Aromas of red and black berries, leather and earth. Red and black fruit also on the palate with additional notes of tobacco and wet gravel. Medium-plus body and finish with a hint of smoky oak. Nicely balanced. Thanks for bringing this one, Aaron B! — a month ago
Blend of Bical (80%) and Arinto (20%). Aromas of fresh pears, white flowers and thyme. The palate fills with flavors of unripe peach, apricot, lemon and minerals. Nice creamy (neutral oak?) texture with a long and lingering nutty finish. Bright and luxurious. Thanks for sharing, Ron B! — a month ago

I’m not too fond of the blandness in a lot of Portuguese reds, but this style plays to its strong suits: unabashed joy in a chilled red, with a fine grained berry texture & an inky dark cherry fruit palate. Nothing complicated but something a bit more elegant & long. — 7 days ago
