Great structure but accessible now, dark earthy fruit profile with a bit of game, leather and smoke

I am *not* an expert and I am *barely* qualified to rate this from the standpoint of “someone with a mouth.” But I find the nose really unpleasant? And yet the taste really absolutely delightful? The nose for me is musty, like an acidic basement. Because of the age? The taste is great, higher tannin, full, fruity, a little woody. I would love a reply/explanation. Would buy again purely for the curiosity
