Cresta Colorada — 3 years ago
Sourced from Pinot Noir vines, the Cresta d’ Oro Vineyard is located in the Green Valley of Sonoma County. On the nose this takes on delicate red cherry, guava puree and orange rind aromas that build in the glass. The palate shows really good freshness with intense red fruit and blood orange flavors, with wild mushroom undertones. The texture to this wine is truly outstanding — as is the long, lingering finish. With good minerality, this seriously good Rose is best enjoyed in the short-term. Drink 2019-2024- 92 — 5 years ago
Very pretty color of light neon pink.
Light to medium in body with medium plus acidity.
Dry and fruit forward with nice balance.
Showing strawberries, raspberries, red apples, citrus, lemons and spices.
Nice finish with limes and lemons.
This is a very tasty Rosé from Russian River Valley. Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.
This Single Vineyard is good right out of the bottle, and a good party wine.
I've had a few vintages of this wine, and it is very consistent.
100% Pinot Noir grapes were aged in egg shaped concrete vessels.
12.5% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

Incredible. Creme brûlée and perfectly balanced! VML does it again. — 7 years ago
Great! A plum and leather with smoke (from smokehouse). But, I think, the acidity is the key. Like a final touch. — 2 years ago

Excellent masculine Pinot Noir that reminds me of a Gevrey-Chambertin. And it is reasonably priced. A great value at $31. This is a Pinot Noir for steak or lamb, not pizza, but I drank it with pizza and still enjoyed it. — 2 months ago
