v12. This is really good! Soft, smoked, candied Black Cherry nose. Juicy, rich, dark black cherry and a touch of tar fruit. Long, slightly dry, pepper and mocha finish. Very good! — 9 months ago
Seems very light but actually taste is rich and the wine has strong tannins. Surprisingly mature smell. — 12 days ago
Modest Nebbiolo nose but impressive palate. Juicy and very chewable with ripe and balanced tannines. Sligro keeps on offering an outstanding qpr on this one! — 9 months ago
Your grandmother lives in a far too cute rural cottage. You wake up in an antique timber cot, the house redolent with pot pourri. Mid morning sun pours through the broken screen door to an empty kitchen, where blackened steel pots are abundant, but no grandma. You push through the screen, to a wild, wild garden, overgrown with wildflowers, berries, citrus, tomato vines, and a cacophony of terracotta potted colour. Grandma beams in flowing Liberty print, nibbling a nasturtium, a mischievous twinkle in her eye. “Someone finally decided to wake up...” — 4 years ago
Maybe too young to tell but I really enjoyed this. Although is has a somewhat muted nose, it was reminiscent of cling peaches and a dash of iodine. The flavors are unapologetic. Bold fruit, tomato leaf, cured meat and integrated tannin. Long finish — 3 months ago

With scallops, octopus, crab, and later short ribs at an Italian restaurant. The glue has subsided, not rubbery, some fruit is coming out. But not special.
21 minutes later: The candied bacon came out, and it compliments the short rib very well. — 9 days ago
