Louis Jadot Marsannay Blanc 2014 $30.
Marsannay, the village marking the No. gateway to the Côte d'Or, leaving Dijon, capital of Burgundy, home to Ducs de Bourgogne, marking the beginning of Route des Grands Crus. Marsannay received its Appellation in 1987, recognition of the high quality of its wine. Pale straw with complex aromas of light stone fruits and sweet spice. On the palate some sour apple with vanilla and nutty flavors, notable high acidity on lingering finish ending with generous mineral tones. — 8 years ago
Bel équilibre vin très plaisant — 2 years ago
Michael Larfage's monopole vineyard Clos Du Chateau Des Ducs 2013. The second bottle of my 6-pack burgundy tasting. Compared with D'Angerville, darker ruby color, more raspberry on the nose, concentrated considerably heavier body, no hint of new oak influence, same bright acidity and firmer tannin. Will require more time to soften the tannin and develop further nuances. — 8 years ago
A lot of acid but great value for a classic Aligoté — 8 months ago
