Very pleasant, some fruit and soft tannins. Went very well with lamb shanks. — a month ago

Last one? Still holding up well with dark fruited earthy notes and a robust firm texture that is very different from the Prestige bottle. This one has Syrah on top of Grenache and Mouvedre so there’s that — 4 months ago

Another left behind wine that is still drinking very well. Age showed in prune notes but it’s otherwise balanced and great with the ribs — 4 months ago

Bosquet des Papes

La Folie Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend 2016

Ready to go out of the gates. Decanted with quite a bit of sediment. Delicious fruit with the classic rhone garrigue and a touch of heat. Good pairing with Peruvian chicken — 5 months ago

Clos des Papes

Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhône Blend 2023

Ok hands up...far too young. Bad planning from me 🙌. That being said...what a wine and I'm so glad I have more!!! Concentration and flavour for days...insane levels of concentration. There is also balance and acidity but oh my what a wine! — 2 months ago

Beautiful, quintessential nose! Silky and balanced from start to finish. Not trying to be too bold but it doesn’t disappear either. Truly enjoyable Bordeaux and I would absolutely buy it again — 5 months ago
