Clos Canereccia

Clos Canereccia

Rosé 2019

A nose of citrus and berry.

Rhubarb, strawberry, mint, citrus zest.
A wonderous rose, with a solid light to medium body, smarties like acidity.
An easy conversation starter.

Sophie Rouge

Oh my god. Why did I only buy 1 bottle of this wine (ok, I know why, for 46.70 at garagiste, this is serious enough of a price tag that I immediately regretted going in even after that single bottle). Nevertheless, imo, this wine totally lives up to this price tag. Paired with cannelini, spinach, bacon and pasta, with a touch of heat, and this was the perfect pairing. On the nose, meyer lemon peel, hazelnut, a soft oxidative apple note, nice complexity. On the palate, lovely acidity, loads of wet stone, meyer lemon peel, bruised apple, a nutty chenin note. Just a fantastic btl. — 2 years ago

Cuvee Sophie blanc Bianco Gentile Blend

@Delectable Wine this is the Cuvee Sophie blanc.

Opened yesterday and in the fridge overnight. On the nose: soft oxidative apple, vanilla spice, lime, just lovely...perhaps even more oxidative character yesterday, so that has softened a bit. On the palate: fantastic acidity, apple peel, lime, spice, a soft chamomile note and a lovely tanginess. Great length on the peppery finish.

Corse Red Blend Paysan Vigneron 2016

Red fruit-forward, herbal, tannic. Similar in profile to a Chianti Classico, but a little sweeter. With soy-scallion burgers, Sriracha mayo and roasted Yukon gold potatoes in soy sauce and butter. — 2 years ago
