This type of cru Beaujolais is what I love about this region, and the excellent QPR. On the nose, beautiful aromatics of rose petals and boysenberries, in the mouth cracked black pepper, rose hips, berries. High acid. Long finish. Light and yet mouth filling. Quite excellent. — 4 years ago
Gorgeous Grower Champagne. Toasty with barlet pear, assuming Meunier is high....which I personally love! Splendid! — 8 years ago

Just delicious! I’ve had great luck w/Savoie wines and this was no different: pours extremely dark, inky, opaque, brooding taking its time to unfurl black & red fruit w/depth, earthy w/a hi tone note along with licorice and forest floor. Big mouth filling broad across palate, gobs of fruit but all fit into sturdy tannic frame. Well cut - a Country Squire — 2 years ago
