My favorite wine of the turtle rock lineup today. Zinfandel and Tempranillo. Just awesome! Fresh but big with fruit just exploding from the glass. This is what I always hope Zinfandel can be. Thanks Claudia for tasting us through these beauties! — 4 years ago

Really good. Sometimes an Italian Bordeaux blend is what you want.

Nose has some lovely pleasant earthiness. Spectacular. Gorgeous aromatics. Wtf? I gave this a 9.1 at Vinitaly.

I did see upside but only had 15 minutes to taste. This stuff is THE SHIT.

Blackberry fruit. Good juiciness. Very good deliciousness. Some spice.

Not over the top obnoxiously ripe. Emilia Romagna. North of Tuscany. So less ripe.

Really good Cava Rose’. Interesting based on the reason that it is made of 100% Pinot Noir. Not typical for Pennades Cava. Fruit forward notes of cranberry sauce, honey and purple flowers. Hints of coconut, herbs and baking spices on the very long finish. Balanced acidity. Very reasonable QPR. Revisited in December 2020. Still a very pleasant surprise. — 4 years ago
